Language and Literacy:
used to help children build their vocabulary and to encourage the expression of their own ideas.
Mathematics: Numbers, patterns relationships, spatial awareness, sequencing, and measurement all teach children how to understand and order the world around them.
Science: Exploring, experimenting, observing and discovering all create opportunities for awareness of our changing natural environment.
Cooperation, negotiating, sharing, and responsibility help children to begin to function as a member of a group. Children gain a fundamental respect for themselves, their peers and the preschool staff.
Music: Musical instruments, rhythm sticks, bean bags, balance beams, a parachute and more are used to encourage children to enjoy musical sounds and explore their own creative movement.
Art: Self-expression is developed through a wide variety of art media. Children learn find motor skills, awareness of color, shape, size and texture and find creative outlets for their imaginations.
Chapel: Chapel is held weekly on Wednesday mornings at 9:00am. It is a time of singing, praise, and worship in which all the children participate.
